The Millingdale family have been making their own ice cream for so many years that nobody knows who first blended the secret selection of ingredients together. The recipe was passed down from generation to generation and in 1980 it was decided that the delicious dessert’s appeal should be appreciated by a wider audience.

The first Millingdale Ice Cream Parlour opened in Newport, on the 23rd of June, 1981. Since then, the company has grown rapidly, and now supplies over two hundred outlets. Despite now employing over three hundred people, the exact recipe is still a secret, locked away in a vault at the Millingdale family home.

Made from only the finest of fresh fruit, cream and other natural ingredients, Millingdale Ice Cream is both a heavenly and healthy sweet delight.
